Using Dash

Terms of use

Effective October 1, 2026

Dash Personal Assistant is a privately managed assistant operated by Jason Profitt through OffStep Labs. These terms describe its intended use and operating limits. The public website provides app information and policies; it does not offer public registration, a subscription, or a purchase.

Authorized use

Use is limited to the operator and explicitly authorized access. Connect only accounts and information you have permission to use. Do not use the assistant to violate another person's privacy, bypass access controls, send unlawful or deceptive communications, or carry out prohibited activity.

Review and external actions

Dash can research, organize information, prepare drafts, and track work. Supported outgoing messages and commitments require the applicable review and approval process. Approval applies to the presented action and its current details. New or changed recipients, content, timing, amounts, or other material terms may require a new review.

Capabilities vary by integration and account permissions. Tracking a proposed reservation or purchase does not mean that a reservation or purchase has been made. Confirmations and service-provider records should be checked before relying on an outcome.

Accuracy and availability

AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Review important facts, dates, recipients, prices, and proposed actions. Dash is not a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and it is not an emergency service.

The assistant depends on the operator's devices, network, and third-party services. Features may change or become unavailable. Continuous availability, uninterrupted monitoring, and error-free results are not guaranteed.

Connected services and information

Google, AI providers, messaging providers, and other connected services have their own terms and policies. Access to those services remains subject to their permissions and availability. The privacy policy explains how Dash accesses, uses, stores, and shares information.

Stopping access

The operator can disable a connection or suspend assistant access. Account owners can revoke Google permissions through Google Account connections. Pausing the assistant or revoking access does not undo an email already sent, cancel an existing booking, or automatically delete retained records and backups.

Updates and contact

These terms may be updated as the private assistant changes. The effective date identifies this version. Questions about the app or these terms can be sent to jprof7@gmail.com.
